What does it take to make a spouse?
A spouse is not made by promises made
But by promises kept
Swept up in a romance?
Yes
But a house swept up and kept up too
To show and tell I am for you
Even if I don’t like you today.
To make love even when love is not being made
To be just as content with a supporting role
As to be the lead actor
Happy spouse – happy house?
Nope.
Good spouse – good house.
