I have been interested in blogging here and there throughout my young adulthood, but haven’t really believed that I had anything worth blogging about. I bought a domain name a couple of years ago and never even edited the site. Andrew has been telling me recently that he thinks I have some things to say that are worth sharing. My mother-in-law has been saying that too! I think it is about time I started listening to those in my life that love me (How about you? Is it about time you started listening?). Andrew sweetly invited me to have a spot of my own on his site and even created a logo for me.
The thing is-sharing one’s heart and soul on a platform like this opens the door for critique and judgement. I think that is why it has taken me so long to finally do so. But I am trying to embrace my friend fear in order to potentially help somebody… and, heck, to do something fun.
I want to share with you all some things that I have learned about babies, mothering, plants, gardening and whatever else I find that interests me. Andrew says that this could be a “one stop shop” for you mothers looking for recommendations (because I have quite a few)! My ultimate goal is to be a helpful presence to somebody, mother or not.
Okay. Deep breath. I finally typed something and shared a bit of my heart. Andrew has been telling me that blogging is like getting a tattoo. Once you start, you won’t want to quit! I see what he means.
Here’s to launching into something scary… but also exciting. 🙂
