new things

Hello internet world.

A lot has happened since I last engaged this blog. Like A LOT!

Here’s some things:

1. I have overhauled my blog. It is no longer titled “Text and Context.” Now it is just Andrew Hicks musings.

2. The old site address <txtandcontxt.com> still works. It is essentially the exact same site just a different look and vibe.

3. I will start using the new site address more <andrewhicks.xyz>

4. I will post about some of the same kinds of things I used to (theology, bible, spirituality, etc.), but I also plan to post other things (i.e. random musings). My goal here is to put less parameters on what I share. No more constraints. I will share whatever the heck I want. So this is an expansive project. I want to post about a wide variety of things. So here we go. You’ll love it or hate it or have no opinions about it since very few people even read, follow, or know about my blog anyway.

5. I also began a new podcast under the same basic branding and aesthetic as the blog. You can find it under the “podcast(s)” page. The only thing up now is a sermon on the Beatitudes I gave a few days ago. Enjoy. I hope there will be more to come.

6. The old podcast is still up and accessible. It is also findable on the “podcast(s)” page. Hence the (s) on the end of it there.

7. Hope you are doing well. If you’re not, reach out and I’d love to listen to you and sit with you in your pain. You are not alone friend.
